Just back from Russia where Studio Absurdia was playing for the full house of some of the most amazing gag heads in the world. After party vodka vodka vodka vodka screaming kids great shit. Big up to Vlad Esaulkov and his friends throwing up hell of a show. Same goes down to Vitaliy Kotov, Lev et all. Damn good shit. More that in Ukraine. Statues and marble and weird spots in the the old town of Kiev. Someone nicked my bank card or I just chucked it away. Anyway, in Poland I realized I was broke and fucked. And so it goes. From Warsaw night to the sunlight of Bilbao and San Sebastian. Viva la Espania. Viva la fucking France too where I have escaped the real world, surfing, reading smart ass books preteding I'm so damn clever and smelling bad as hell in my thoughts of idleness. Meanwhile the real world looks something like this:

This morning I realised I was in LA, CA. Motherfucker! I have a spot on my cheek but check out the French hackers who are putting the spots on the intershredder XS2000. Kingpin has not only made their magazine look interesting but have a new look website too. It seems like Jake Phelps won the SOTY. Ryan Decenzo sure won the Tampa Am. Tune in for more intertunes from this part of the world. Meanwhile on the otherside of the planet the boys will be drinking vodka and having a jolly good time in Tallinn, Estonia. It's the Simple Sessions skateboarding hulabaloo and you can follow it all live on the interwebcaster 7000. Well, not maybe all the action, but the skatesports part of it. |

Big Rob's entry to the world of film. Meanwhile we're totally into scientology. Top Gun Tom is simply too convincing for a great mind like Frankie Ill and the following bunch of Circeologists. |

Mike York vs Thom Yorke: Radiohead are playing tonight in the new Rough Trade shop, the one next to Brick Lane. It's free, so if you like those suckers, go there and get miserable with the miserables. |

Off to the races. We're about to redo the Circle homesite and send it straight to 1997 levels of gif animation and php wonders. This might be done before the 2012 Olympics in Hackney and beyond. Meanwhile Anzeigeberlin 16 is out. Kris Vile skates for Santa Cruz, Slobodan Burgher has wrapped up a new job in Camden, SS is off to Berlin bunkers for good, or is he? Somehow Danny Renaud has fell down nine stories and "miraculously survived", Brazilian boys are making a video, updates on AWS films site, Underskatement steams on somewhere in Tucson or Vancouver. |

Fucking great news to start the year off: Big Brother is back! Apparently Jeff Tremain has bought the Big Brother rights back from Larry Playboy Flynt. Finally some proper shit in the horizont. I'm putting in Slobodan Burgher's CV to get the bastard child a proper home. The kid spent 48 hours in a bus going to Poland and back. Uhh- for love. Let's hope the BB shit ain't this whack. Film maker Marten Peter-P is leaving Barcelona after a seven-eight year stay. New address is apparently Berlin, but the move ain't down before April or so. A heavy leaving due to be expected. |

Have a go at the CIRCLE ISSUE 4 or switch to the HTML content navigation mood and see the whole shit boom. What's in the four? Willow hot meat, lost interviews of Lance Mountain and Chet Childress and P-Rod and so on (goddamn) to appear soon, Euro business report avec Hessenmob and Nomad, Africa shit, some nice photos too, Anzeigeberlin, how to make good booze from shit booze, literature goes toilet, and by means no least: buying dope for Tera Patrick plus more hot potatoes like Jason Adams and Simo Makela goes abroad with a stasi official. You will totally need to work overtime to read through it all on one working day. But, then, we have the Christmas holidays. Lakai leftovers for the homies Tomorrow is the Hawkwind gig but I is going to the Santa land for some hangover action. Laters. |

Been studying this Lakai film and I am almost surprised that the content is still - after all the hype - skateboarding. If I'd be a young up and comer I would eat my porridge, go out for two years, learn every single trick in the film, then film, and notice that everybody has arrived to exactly the same point. Fully Flared really takes the skating to the next level (how many times has that been said), moves it up two to three years down the line. But before you have time to say BANG! we will all have arrived to the future. So MJ is the SOTY again. Good shit. Really feeling this skate business right now. Real good cold fresh evenings to strech your legs and get out there. |

Hey! It's Frankie Il here. What the hell is going on? Well, we got a job that actally pays some money so you better give us few days loose, douchebag. Watch this. |
|
| November 23 2007 14:46 | |
Anzeigeberlin has really moved forward since seeing the little A6 magazine last time. The pure quality of skating is really whopping, better than in many "proper" skate magazines in the UK or Deutchland. Went to skate the Till's place last night and its so good and so mellow. |

Circle is getting ready to take you back to the wonderful world of 1987 style HTML functions. Wednesday 28th is the calculated day of the new born virtual baby bastard: TIME IS MONEY. What's in the shits? Lance Mountain, Chet Childress, The Kid Adams, maybe Simo Makela, Peter-P goes Africa, of course Fully Flared and much video propaganda. Business analysis, dusty archives, Tera Patrick! smokes, spelling mistakes, vodka reviews, runkebulle, Jon's miniramp and fascinating hi-tech art and much more in depth analysis (bullshit) on the zeitgeist of the world around. November 28th! Available from all respectable dealers worldwide. |

The hype is heating up as the skateboarding world gets restless over the Lakai movie premier weekend: tomorrow in LA, Sunday in London. Ok, there's a message from Frank Ill (long time no see): Oh shit, Frank Ill is the man. Circle is the band of the past two centuries. A must see! What a hook-up. |

Hell of a weekend behind in London. Parties, fire brigade, puke everywhere (found a guy passed out in a pool of his own puke and kicked him to move over), a big ass soundsystem, simple pigs loose all over the place, great weather for a skate. The long awaited Lakai film will premier in London on 18th, but for tomorrow, if you're man enough, go to Harrow and...
On Monday its back to Berlin. |

Vote The Stool Pigeon for the best free music paper in the UK. Hell, it's the best music paper of all but the bastards haven't listed it with the shit NMEs and MOJOs. You don't need to sign up or register or anything. Just vote here and choose your president. This handrail here (the one that Brobhy tre flips) is filled with bad karma. First time out it started to rain. Second time out a huge posse of hoodlum fuck kids came out to kick the shit out of us. With some swordmanship/The Warriors action the slender crew of a few Scandinavians escaped to the nearby tube tunnel. |

Diamond line-up for The Stool Pigeon's Pigeon Coup this Friday night, November 2. All going on at The Buffalo Bar, Highbury Islington tube. So Static 3 premier tomorrow in Prince Charles and the after party in the Social Club, Little Portland street. Our man in the nightshift of London City is informing us on the following movements. Let us simply steal some lines of the grand old Mr Burgher: Not sure if you managed to read Billy Childish's My Fault yet, but I got the sequel from the library and it is just so much shit. The way it is described on the back in just entirely incorrect, factually as well as critically. Fucken douche bag. And he tries to be Celine - to clarify, he doesn't try to write like Celine, he tries to be Celine -and that shit is just embarrassing. Hunter Thomson by the way is currently being killed by literary people, he is exposed as fake, a homophobic racist etc etc. (read it here). Allen Ginsberg is also being exposed as a fucking "cunt" over at Reality Studios - the public/academic W. Burroughs resource page. Finally, Charles Bukowski is also being hammered down 60 feet under the earth -but bizarrely he is at the same time being rediscovered by academics and bibliographers and there will be lots of new studies on him out soon. Moreover, Henry Miller is currently being considered as a sage, that is a religious person/ writer, as a new book on him argues. Weird world. And I never was much into sports. |

More interesting than not: the first ever Nomad video 'Point of View' is about to drop some poo-poo into the pants of others. New Death video Better Than Life premier in Trinity Pub, Harrow. 7th of November rain at eight o'clock UK time. Static III premier in Prince Charles this Thursday. |

R E S E T !
Oh man what hackery bullshit. Somehow the whole lot of "news" section was washed out into the thin German autumn air with one click of a button. Just when I thought it was cool to edit everything online, the dog bites back. Reset HTML 1988 SYS1208 Load "*",8,1 There's a best trick contest in Chinatown Skateapark in NYC this Saturday. Working here in Berlin on a new issue "Time is Money". This shit is on the roll again. Riggio in NYC, SB left in London and MR and I sitting on the Berlin Wall spitting in the air of what isn't anymore. We might need a screwdriver to set the Turbo 3 of the interwave-lenghts and a few SYS codes to break the syntax errors. But the ping pong tables are good fun. And for music, never forget Slobodan Burgher's hotter than hot dog music blog for downloads and lowlife ramblings. S-K-A-T-E: Wieger VW is still without a board sponsor after being wise enough to wait for the right opportunity rather than jumping the gun. His part in the whoop video is amazing, up there with the bests P-Rod, Omar Salazar's spirit and Chet Childress mouth shooting. There sure will be a lot of bidders for the ginger dutch. The film as a whole is so-so and whatever. But it was damn funny to see how much money Nike can throw at you. A pr master stroke at all the levels should shut some mouths. Very pleasant. Jeremy Rogers is on those Silver trucks. I still haven't seen anyone actually buying/riding them. On the other hand we've been buried deep into turd with the old timers skating pool and praising their Indies from 1988. Better change or drop dead. Duane Peters is the best. Lance Mountain's, 42, tip to the old timers with ailing bodies: Just keep on skating. It will hurt less that way. Now its all down to Lakai with the new film premiering in about a month. Shoe wars! Some dumb ass kids were camping outside Nike Town to get some spikes underneath. I walked past and asked: "what are you doing here?" some said: "we want to get some this and that shoes". I say "good luck". A very funny thing from the past sprang to my mind but I just might save it for the issue we're working on. Everything is good. Everyone is a friend of yours. |
